Mountainfilm on Tour to host festival in downtown Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Mountainfilm on Tour Savannah, a nonprofit film festival designed to educate and inspire audiences about issues that matter, cultures worth exploring, environments worth preserving and conversations worth sustaining, will be hosting its 4th annual film festival from Jan. 18 to Jan. 19 at the Trustees Theater in downtown Savannah. The festival will showcase the very best films of this year's Telluride Mountainfilm Festival.

A portion of the proceeds will be used to benefit the Savannah Tree Foundation, Tybee Island Marine Science Center, Ossabaw Island Foundation, All Walks of Life, Savannah Bicycle Campaign and the coastal division of the Georgia Conservancy.

Tickets cost $10 for adults and $8 for students, military and seniors. All tickets to the matinee on Saturday are $5. Weekend festival passes can be purchased for $25.
