SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The family of Rebecca Foley, the Savannah State University student who was shot and killed late last month in the parking lot of her southside Savannah apartment, wants answers. Police say there are few clues in the case. The 21 year old was shot in her car. They don't know if she was the target or an innocent bystander.
"The person who did this, I don't know what they got out of it. It was senseless. It served no useful purpose. I believe, just as Rebecca has said, the world is round and what goes around, comes around. That person should step forward, step up to the plate and admit what they have done. Anyone who has any information at all should come forward. There is a moral law with our creator that we all have to give an account. I believe there will be a day of reckoning," said Carolyn Foley, Rebecca's grandmother.
A reward is being offered for information. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 912.234.2020.
