CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) - The last of former Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Chief Willie Lovett's co-defendants entered a guilty plea on Monday for his role in the gambling and extortion scheme.
Kenny Blount previously pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Now, Lovett is the only defendant pleading not guilty.
The two were indicted on July 9 in connection with a scheme in which Lovett reportedly provided protection to a group running a gambling operation.
