LADY'S ISLAND, SC (WTOC) - Beaufort County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the fourth bank robbery in six weeks.

On Tuesday, two men robbed the BB&T Bank on Lady's Island, but it all started when someone robbed the Regions Community Bank on Lady's Island. A week after that, someone robbed the Atlantic Community Bank on Hilton Head Island. The two weeks ago someone robbed the TD Bank in Bluffton.

No one was injured in Tuesday's robbery, and no one was allowed to go past a section of road which leads to businesses.

"I know I better not have to reschedule this again," said Benji Calderon, speaking about his eye appointment.

Calderon drove two hours from Columbia to see his eye doctor on Tuesday, and he almost missed the appointment because of the bank robbery.

His doctor's office is behind the bank, and the Beaufort County Sheriff's deputies blocked the entire area off for almost an hour. Just like Calderon, multiple people were either forced to wait or go back home.

"These people crazy," said Bronell Housey. "I cannot believe it."

Photos from surveillance video show the two suspects in Tuesday's robbery. Deputies said they're black males between 5'7 and 6' tall. One was wearing a baggy white shirt with dark baggy pants, and the other was wearing a baggy black shirt with dark baggy pants. The both wore face covers.

Unfortunately, this robbery doesn't come as a shock to many, not even Calderon.

When asked why he thought he couldn't get to his appointment, Calderon replied, "There must have been another robbery in Beaufort. I've been hearing about other stuff that's been going on."

The sheriff's office has not connected any of these robberies, and Tuesday's suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

If you have any information about any of these incidents, please call the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.
