SCCPSS bus stopped after engine block catches fire on Pooler Parkway

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A fire in the engine block of an SCCPSS bus has stopped service for the day on Pooler Parkway near Highway 80.
According to Pooler Fire, firefighters responded to the fire in front of the fire station on Pooler Parkway on Friday afternoon. The bus was from New Hempstead High School. There were no injuries reported.
Parents are being told to come to the fire station to pick up children.
