SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Flannery O'Connor Book Trail Collaborative has unveiled its latest Little Free Library in Savannah.

The libraries will soon dot the course of The Flannery O'Connor Book Trail, planting libraries from Savannah to Milledgeville in the hopes of increasing access to books for people in all communities.

"This is the third in the series of Little Free Libraries,” said Christine Sajecki. “This particular one, Katherine Sandoz was the artist who decorated it. It's like a peacock and a bookshelf, and it's filled with free books, so anyone welcome to come by and take a book or leave a book and hopefully fall in love with reading if they weren't already in love."

The new little free library is located at 207 East Charlton St. in Savannah. The philosophy of The Little Free Library is simple: “Take a book, return a book."

Anyone may stop by and pick up a book or two and bring back another book to share.
