SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Participants at the Bull Street Library were taking a step back in time traveling back to the World War II era.
The 12th annual Live Oak Public Libraries Gala was held Saturday night with the theme "Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II." The event consisted of live performances, swing dancing, food as well as other fun activities.
"I think it's a special way to celebrate both the library and the end of World War II," said Christian Kruse, Live Oaks Public Libraries Director. "I mean putting the two together has just made for a smash evening, everybody seems to be having a great time."
