SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Have You heard, or maybe you saw the giant Dreamliner circling the Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport Wednesday night. A lot of questions are being asked about this on social media.

Some of you wanted to know if the plane was in distress since it had its wheels down and then would look to land only to take off again. There's nothing to worry folks, as the airport tells me the Air China Dreamliner was performing what they call touch and go's test flights.

And another airport curiosity making the rounds on social media once again that have some of you wanting to know if it's true or a hoax. It's about gravestones in the airports runway. Yes, this is true and not made-up, and this is one of the reasons Savannah's airport was named one of the weirdest airports in the world years ago. The Dotson family owned the land where the runway is now, and the two grave markers belong to two family members. During a runway expansion project, the gravestones were paved into the cement of the runway. The graves are not in the center of the runway, but located on the north edge of runway 10 and 28. So they are not being constantly run over by landing and departing aircraft.
