SCMPD: New Jersey Avenue shooting was accidental
SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department is investigating an accidental shooting that occurred on the 1400 block of New Jersey Street at approximately 7 p.m. Sunday.
Officials say a male juvenile was taken to Memorial University Medical Center with serious injuries. Detectives believe the incident occurred outside and the injured teen and all other parties involved in the incident are known to each other.
The incident remains under investigation.
