Investigation underway after boat exploded near St. Simons Island S

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, GA (WTOC) - U.S. Coast Guard crews rescued four fishermen early Thursday morning after the boat they were on caught fire and exploded near St. Simons Island Sound.
"We're on fire in Brunswick. Right across from the Jekyll pier. We're on fire," the distress call said.
A Coast Guard 45-foot Response Boat - Medium crew from Station Brunswick located and rescued the crew and their dog from the 58-foot fishing vessel Predator at 4:25 a.m.
The crew sustained minor injuries, but were reported to be in good condition. Coast Guard pollution investigators are en route.
The cause of the fire in currently under investigation.
