SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Georgia Secretary of State's Office is currently investigating four issues related to Tuesday's Primary Election, including a polling location in Chatham County.
WTOC confirmed the investigation was into an issue if a polling location opened on time. Thomas Mahoney, with the Chatham County Elections Office, says the state office's investigation involves the Salvation Army voting location on Bee Road.
Mahoney states the office is only aware of a single complaint filed about the location, where a voter claims to have been turned away earlier in the day. The voter was able to come back and successfully vote later.
Mahoney states the Chatham County office has talked with the complainant and she was satisfied with the outcome.
