Volunteers needed for new Hilton Head Island trolley service

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (WTOC) - The Town of Hilton Head Island and Palmetto Breeze will be launching their new trolley service, "The Breeze" on Monday.

They're looking for volunteers to serve as ambassadors onboard the trolley. Trolley ambassadors greet passengers, answer their questions and share little island tidbits as the trolley travels down its route.

Volunteers are needed for 2 1/2-hour shifts from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the first week of service - July 16 to July 22 - and for two-hour shifts from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through Labor Day.
