Car crashes into home on E DeRenne Avenue in Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Emergency crews responded to a wreck early Friday morning where a vehicle crashed into a house.
It happened around 5 a.m. on the 1800 block of East Derenne Avenue between Truman Parkway and Skidaway Road. A single vehicle left the road and crashed into the home, causing major damage to the front part of the house and to a parked vehicle.
A 25-year-old Savannah woman was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Thankfully, no one inside the home was injured.
Savannah Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
