Georgia State Patrol investigating fatal wreck on Islands Expressway near Bryan Woods Road

WILMINGTON ISLAND, GA (WTOC) - Troopers with the Georgia State Patrol are investigating a fatal wreck along Highway 80 near Bryan Woods Road.
Troopers say a woman driving a gold Volkswagen crashed into a man driving a motorcycle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers are working to notify his next of kin.
The woman has been charged with DUI, homicide by vehicle, and failure to yield.
The Specialized Crash Reconstruction Team with GSP is investigating the crash.
