Temporary closure of McIntosh County YMCA due to structural concerns

MCINTOSH COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - The McIntosh County YMCA in Darien is temporarily closed due to structural concerns from Helene.

YMCA of Coastal Georgia is actively assessing the situation to ensure that the facility is safe for use. In the meantime, McIntosh YMCA members can go to surrounding YMCA branches during this closure.

These branches include:

• Golden Isles YMCA: 144 Scranton Connector, Brunswick, GA
• Richmond Hill YMCA: 154 Thunderbird Dr, Richmond Hill, GA
• Liberty County YMCA: 201 Mary Lou Dr, Hinesville, GA

The McIntosh County YMCA will reopen when it is safe to do so.
