SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - If you’ve ever wanted to go beyond the pages of a cookbook and learn more about food, you can hear directly from a celebrity chef at Coastal Table and Tales inaugural chef-in-residency program Jan. 23-26.

The culinary book store and cooking workshop opened in Savannah’s Historic District in November with the intention of bringing celebrity chefs in for cooking classes, discussions and demonstrations.

Their first Chef in Residency event will be feature Ade Carrena, who was a champion on the Food Network’s Chopped competitive-cooking show. Carrena will lead three different events highlighting West African cuisine at Coastal Table and Tale.

The events are Friday, Saturday and Sunday and each will be ticketed separately.
