Georgia DOT accepting summer internship applications

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Georgia Department of Transportation internship applications are open now for students wanting to be a part of active projects being constructed throughout the state.

“During your time here, you will have an opportunity to learn about the meaningful, creative work we do to serve the State of Georgia and the motoring public,” they wrote. “Each employee on our team has a role in delivering a safer and more innovative transportation system.”

Students will be hourly employees and are allowed to work up to 40 hours a week.

Available internships as of Wednesday, February 11 include:

• Engineering
• Office of Right Away (Acquisition and Property Management)
