Tarcia Bush
Morning Executive Producer

Tarcia Smith Bush joined WTOC as Morning Executive Producer in August 2026. An Associated Press and GABBY Award-winning journalist, she brings more than 30 years of experience in local television news and communications. Tarcia is excited to return to WTOC, where she previously spent 12 years helping produce the station's award-winning newscasts.
A Savannah native and graduate of Sol C. Johnson High School, Tarcia earned a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Georgia Southern University and three master's degrees from Liberty University, including her most recent in Strategic Communication.
Throughout her career, Tarcia has worked in television news and public relations. She has also worked in higher education, serving as an adjunct professor at Savannah State University, where she taught Feature Writing and continues to mentor the next generation of journalists.
Tarcia is active in the community and serves on several boards, including Keep Savannah Beautiful. She is also a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
When she's not in the newsroom, Tarcia loves going on cruises. She is a self-proclaimed documentary junkie, especially if they're about true crime and history. Hallmark holiday movies and '80s music are also favorites.
