Largest vessel ever calls on Port of Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The ZIM vessel Tianjin called on the Port of Savannah Wednesday morning, making for an amazing site along River Street.
The Georgia Ports Authority says the Tianjin is the largest vessel to ever call on Savannah, at a capacity of 10,062 twenty-foot equivalent container units.
"It's a big ship, it's pretty nice. I didn't want to come down to see it at first, but my wife dragged me down here and now that I'm seeing it, it's pretty nice," said Kenneth Bruin, watched the ship pass River Street.
